Studio 89 is the Toowoomba recording and production studio formally known as Evolution Studios.

Owned and operated by multi-award-winning producer, and the previous owner of Evolution Studios, Shayne Cantly, the recording space has undergone a massive update and upgrade of equipment and space, including new Adam A77 monitors, and some very special, classic analogue outboard gear and a new range of plug-ins and sounds.

The mixing room has been acoustically measured, balanced and treated to deliver true flat and accurate mixing environments using the Sonarwork Studio system.

​

And for out of town solo artists, we are now able to provide a bed and breakfast in our home for no additional charge, as well as access to our studio swimming pool and BBQ area.

​

This recording studio in Toowoomba has played host to amazing talents such as Keith Urban, Gina Jefferies, Kate Miller Heidke, Duncan Toombs, Chad Morgan, and we recorded and produced the number 1 album for Lyn Bowtell, "Hearts In The Country" as well as many more local and interstate musicians.

We've even recorded voice actors for motion pictures, and TV shows such as the international hit, "Bluey".
